My passion for art developed as a very young child. I would watch my father paint something as simple as an apple, and each and every stroke caught my undivided attention. My older siblings would color, and I would watch them closely, examining how they outlined the picture first before they added the color.
Bob Ross was always on my television as a child. I would never paint with him, but I would watch each and every stork closely. Art has always been a deeply rooted passion of mine, and I am forever thankful for knowing so early in life, what my true passion is.
Growing up, I was very shy and reserved. I liked to observe and learn, and rarely spoke up. Art helped me vent any frustration I may have had that went unheard. Art was my therapy. I have always said: “Art saves my life…in more ways than I could ever describe.
